MONA amazing-ness. Unfortunately this is not well captured by the following two pictures. Perhaps the 180 life-size plaster casts of women's vaginas would have done this better? Or for fans of the less erotic, the enormous 46m x 12m Sidney Nolan? There was also Egyptian mummies. MONA is awesome, disgusting, hilarious, fun and confronting at the same time.
This is a house with a disproportionately large hedge I saw in Hobart. I have seriously never seen more dramatic hedge:house ratio. Very impressive.
Street art in Hobart. Associated signage informed me that this sculpture/barbed wire thing marked the spot where, in 1923, a rich man asked the Council to reserve a tract of land for the public. The Council said no. This is apparently a) worth remembering and b) inspirational to the Artist. It is unclear if the orange stuff is meant to be attached or serving some health/safety related purpose.
As you can see, life has been busy.
